SLC: Sweet Little Chocolates

The first leg of our road trip took us through southern Idaho into northern Utah. We drove into Twin Falls along the way and ate wedding leftovers (cold fried chicken and tomato cucumber salad) high above the Snake River, about a mile from where Evil Knievel attempted his 1972 Sky Cycle jump across the canyon.

It takes a lot of Wild Turkey and barbiturates to dream so high. He remains my idol, despite how stupid Amy thinks he was.

We rolled into SLC at sunset, ate dinner at a strip mall noodle shop and crashed at a Ramada Inn. After a free breakfast of cook-your-own waffles and shitty coffee, we found Hatch Family Chocolates and met TLC's "Little Chocolatiers." Katey and Steve are sweet as candy.

I set up a photo booth at our "Almost Married Party"

Thought I'd share these to get the ball rolling. Amy and I threw our "Almost Married" party in the backyard of The City Reliquary last weekend. It's a small museum/ civic organization in Brooklyn. If you've never visited, you should. It's awesome! The Reliquarians we're nice enough to allow us to use the "Newstand" as a photo booth. If you're on Facebook, you can see all of them here.
